One thing you might not now about me is that I love Dead By Daylight. (Okay, maybe if you read Episode 4 of
You Don't Know Nick, you could guess, but still.)
I started playing in April 2026, and have been hooked ever since. Which brings me to the content of this post: my AU (short for Alternate Universe)!
It was featured in the aforementioned YDKN episode, but the gist is that The Entity has finally been defeated, but not in the way you’d expect.
Basically, Trapper, after hooking Kate yet again, realized she just never gave up hope that things would one day get better. This made him think that maybe they could get better.
So, rather than fight The Entity, he went back to what he did before he entered The Fog: started a union.
The Realm ground to a halt, and The Entity was forced to give into the Killers’ (and Survivors’) demands.
Now, while The Trials are still going on (that’s their job), they have better hours, a minimum wage of 60,000 Bloodpoints an hour, and a break room that isn’t a campfire! Also, the Survivors were able to contact their loved ones, and the licensed characters were sent back to their universes (with the caveat that the Entity is allowed to summon them when they’re needed).
Now, the Survivors and Killers are getting along surprisingly well, and The Entity is getting a balanced diet of negative and positive emotions!
Other stuff in this AU includes a "Bring A Loved One To The Trials Day", remake Freddy being fired and replaced by original Freddy, an incident where Hillbilly was accidentally racist towards Deathslinger, Huntress finding out about WW2, and Doctor and Nurse trying to set up a health provider network.
