Nickstaverse America

Have you ever asked yourself, "What's America like in the Nickstaverse?"

No? Too bad.

I've completed the main chunk of a document all about America in the Nickstaverse. It's got details on all 60 states, superhero and supervillain teams, and even a magic system! I'm planning to add section on species, sports, and random civilians, too, so watch the document.

My Dead By Daylight AU

One thing you might not now about me is that I love Dead By Daylight. (Okay, maybe if you read Episode 4 of You Don't Know Nick, you could guess, but still.)

I started playing in April 2026, and have been hooked ever since. Which brings me to the content of this post: my AU (short for Alternate Universe)!

It was featured in the aforementioned YDKN episode, but the gist is that The Entity has finally been defeated, but not in the way you’d expect.

Basically, Trapper, after hooking Kate yet again, realized she just never gave up hope that things would one day get better. This made him think that maybe they could get better.

So, rather than fight The Entity, he went back to what he did before he entered The Fog: started a union.

The Realm ground to a halt, and The Entity was forced to give into the Killers’ (and Survivors’) demands.

Now, while The Trials are still going on (that’s their job), they have better hours, a minimum wage of 60,000 Bloodpoints an hour, and a break room that isn’t a campfire! Also, the Survivors were able to contact their loved ones, and the licensed characters were sent back to their universes (with the caveat that the Entity is allowed to summon them when they’re needed).

Now, the Survivors and Killers are getting along surprisingly well, and The Entity is getting a balanced diet of negative and positive emotions!

Other stuff in this AU includes a "Bring A Loved One To The Trials Day", remake Freddy being fired and replaced by original Freddy, an incident where Hillbilly was accidentally racist towards Deathslinger, Huntress finding out about WW2, and Doctor and Nurse trying to set up a health provider network.

The Destroyers (Part 1)

The Destroyers are America's biggest supervillain team. Formed out of the remnants of Dr. Destruction's minions, they terrorize America in hopes of one day taking over America like he wanted. There are 32 members, and I'll go through them alphabetically.

Acid Vern (Vernon Gruner) - An acid-blasting con man with KenCo's eternal ire

Bad Seed (Sydney Wheaton) - An evil botanist who enjoys using the most evil of plants

Berserker (Eduardo Marquez) - A guy who's basically Red Hulk meets El Macho from Despicable Me 2

Big Brother (Guillermo Herrera) - Dr. Destroyer's psychic sycophant who knows how to please... and hurt

Candyman (Brian Clark) - A guy with candy-themed gadgets that he uses to be a huge jerk

Carbon (Rochelle Black) - A woman who can turn into any form of carbon, from graphite to diamond

Conundrum (William Broome) - The latest in a long line of evil puzzlemakers who have tormented law enforcement

Crash Test Dummy (Robert Bradford) - A disgraced college professor who has an insane healing factor

The Students of COSA

The Colorado State Super Academy is a school in the Super Education System with 18 students. COSA is located in Bold City, Colorado, a city formerly known as Boulder that was renamed following an important battle of the Jhinu War.

Here are the eighteen students attending COSA:

Brainwave (Ellen Benson): A prank-loving telepath who has surprisingly good grades considering she doesn’t pay much attention

Brawn Boy (Bobby Richards): A super strong and invulnerable jock who misses being able to compete in high school sports like the normies

Coldsnap (Melissa Porter): A lovelorn ice controller who misses her middle school sweetheart from Colorado Springs every day

Dinosoar (Julie Whitehouse): A pterodactyl-like mutant whose formed a fast friendship with Draft Punk, who gives her updrafts to fly longer

Diva (Diana Morrison): A sassy sound controller who loves the 70s because of the fashion, the music, and the Civil Rights Act being a thing

Draft Punk (Pedro Juarez): An air controller who formed a fast friendship with Dinosoar and helps her fly longer by giving her updrafts

Emotive (Angela Riley): An emotion controller who keeps getting in trouble for cheering up her fellow students with her powers

Flicker (Sophia Jefferson): A studious teleporter who sees herself as more of a student and is often too busy doing homework to fight crime

Impact (Robert Ashford): COSA’s de facto leader who can absorb energy to strengthen himself, and worries his evil dad will escape Tartarus

IQ (Ignacio Quesada): A precognitive with little-to-no human empathy as his powers make him reduce everything to an equation he can solve

Nighttime (Lisa Remington): A shy, withdrawn, socially awkward sleep inducer, and the slightly younger twin sister of Sleeper

Ousién (Enoki Longtongue): A Quagi kid who loves getting to learn about Earth culture, as well as jumping really high and using her prehensile tongue

Outcast (Denephew Sanford): A repeller from a bad neighborhood who hopes that he can become a famous hero to help out his neighborhood

Puddle Girl (Amy Chen): A Chinese immigrant girl who can turn into liquid, but is only starting to learn how to move as a liquid

Sleeper (Andrew Remington): Nighttime’s slightly older twin brother who hopes to get his sister to be more outgoing, but might go too far at times

Stretch (James Meyer): An elastic good-natured slacker who could definitely use some discipline, as he's often seen being funny rather than actually working

Thunderboy (Ted Johnson): A brash young electricity controller who uses his recklessness to hide his survivor’s guilt for letting a villain kill his girlfriend

Timestream (Diego Rodriguez): A time controller who feels like his ability to control time itself makes him better than everyone else
